About

Lukas Uždavinys — automation engineer.

I work through iAutomation as an independent industrial automation engineer, with more than 10 years of hands-on programming, integration and commissioning experience.

Hands-on engineering

My focus is architecture, PLC/HMI software, drives, interfaces, testing and commissioning. Technical coordination with engineers and suppliers supports that delivery.

Readability first

Clear naming, comments and logic make software understandable. Modularity and reuse support that goal.

A commissioning mindset

Software must work with mechanics, electrical equipment, sensors, drives and operators. Field experience informs how I design the software.

Working with existing systems

I can take over code developed by other engineers, understand its architecture and modify or extend it without an unnecessary rewrite.

Professional experience

A strong project background in material handling.

Conveyors, buffering, tray handling and servo machinery — from individual machines to tens of interconnected PLCs. Programming, integration and commissioning across Europe and North America. This international professional experience was gained through employers and engineering companies; it is not presented as a list of direct iAutomation clients.

Cooperation

Cooperation shaped around the project.

Long-term external engineering capacity or a specific programming and commissioning assignment.

01

Long-term capacity

An engineer familiar with your system and continuity from programming to later changes. We agree reserved engineering time for your projects, modernization and support.

02

Defined assignments

Hourly, day-rate or clearly defined project scopes. Short assignments of one or two days are also possible.

03

On-site and remote

On-site integration and commissioning, with more remote work once the system is established. Up to 50% on-site work by agreement.

Lithuania and selected international projects.

I prefer long-term cooperation with Lithuanian manufacturers, while also supporting OEMs, machine builders, integrators and engineering companies. Working languages are Lithuanian and English. Travel location, duration and the on-site/remote balance are agreed before starting.
